So much tension surrounding your ticket, have things settled down now?

I had asked for a ticket from Bikaner West and Yashpal Ji had asked from East but was given west. We informed the high command. They checked and changed the ticket. Yashpal Ji is supporting me and we have a good coordination. I would have done the same for him if he had been the candidate. We are working to ensure a win for the party. 

Gopal Joshi is contesting for third time and is your relative? Will it affect votes of your community?

I can list over 50 seats in Rajasthan where candidates of the same community are contesting against each other. I have been meeting the public Today people consider the merits of candidates and then cast their vote. 

What are the issues that have been unresolved in the area? What are the main problems?

The fact is that BJP MLA has not been able to get a primary school opened. The old pre-independence printing press was also shut down. Technical university that was opened at the time of Congress was shut down. Congress staged a regular protest and it was finally opened. There has been practically no development in Bikaner. Congress will develop the area on a priority. 

How will you make a difference?

My top priorities would be getting railway overbridge at the two railway gates at Kot Gate sorted out. Sewer line would be laid out. Drinking water is a problem we will create a new artificial lake, lay new pipelines and filter plants for this. I will set up a toll free number and give out my mail id for problem redressal. I will set respond to the status their complaint.

Employment for youth of the area will be a top priority for me. Congress manifesto also promises tax holiday for people setting up business in desert and hill areas.
