The elections are being fought under the leadership of Gandhi and his visit will bring enthusiasm among party workers.

Is his visit an attempt to counter Raje’s Rajasthan ka Gaurav Yatra?

We are visiting different parts of the state since the last 4.5 years, and this is the reason why CM Raje had to start visiting the places now. Rahul and Raje’s visits have no comparison. Rahul will start the battle of change in Rajasthan from Jaipur and will visit other districts as well in the last week of August and September. The Raje government has failed to give good governance to the people of Rajasthan. The Raje government should undertake an accountability visit instead of Gaurav Yatra.

BJP is claiming to reach 180-seat mark, what are your expectations?

The BJP’s 180 figure is ridiculous. The Congress has not decided any figure yet, but I can claim that we are going to win with largest majority in Rajasthan till date. Previous all records made by the Congress regarding seats will break this time.

BJP says Congress does not have any CM face. It can become a poll issue?

There are many issues related to the people of Rajasthan which are needed to be raised. In Congress, there is no tradition of declaring the face for CM’s post, except on a few occasions. This tradition will continue in Rajasthan too. In the Congress, CM is chosen after winning the elections. It is known to all that BJP national president Amit Shah has declared Vasundhara Raje as the face of CM post in helplessness.
