#IPL2017 WATCH: Rishabh Pant's momentary brain fade results in a Suresh Raina special

Gujarat Lions captain Suresh Raina on Wednesday night produced a special effort to get rid of Delhi Daredevils batsman Rishabh Pant, during their T20 match in Kanpur.

Chasing 195, the Delhi Daredevils, who eventually won the match, had a few hiccups when they lost Sanju Samson and Rishabh Pant. While Samson was bowled by Pradeep Sangwan, thanks to a play-on, Pant’s wicket was thanks to the brilliant presence of mind by Gujarat Lions captain Suresh Raina.

Pant was caught up in a LBW confusion off the fifth delivery in the second over, and in a moment of brain-fade, he forgot to plank his bat inside the crease even as Raina, fielding at slip, hit the wickets with a direct throw.
