Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) take on Delhi Capitals (DC) in an all-important clash for the playoff race in IPL 2020 on Tuesday (October 27) at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai.
Shreyas Iyer's side will be looking to bounce back with a win after their 59-run defeat in the hands of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) last time around.
Meanwhile, SRH will be looking to keep their Playoff dreams alive after choking an easy win against the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), who managed to defend the lowest total in this year's IPL.
Head-to-head encounters

Delhi Capitals vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, May 08, 2019, Visakhapatnam. Result – Delhi Capitals won by 2 wickets
While SRH had shot themselves on the foot, DC fought tooth and nail in the 2019 Eliminator. Khaleel picked up two wickets and ended up not completing his quota of overs. Prithvi Shaw's fifty had set the tone for a nervy chase. DC's Keemo Paul bowled 3 off his overs after over number 13 and picked up wickets of Pandey, Nabi and Rashid. The game see-sawed erratically and looked to be in DC's camp thanks to Rishabh Pant's 49 as they achieved the 162 runs target in 19.5 overs.
Delhi Capitals vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, March 28, 2019, Hyderabad. Result – Delhi Capitals won by 39 runs
15 runs and 8 wickets, SRH botched up this chase pretty badly in the end. After restricting DC to 155, SRH looked like they had the game in their bag. However, despite the sparkling opening partnership between Warner and Bairstow, once their departure, the innings nosedived big time. A loss by 39 runs helped the visiting team to give their NRR a facelift. While DC had 3 wins on the bounce, SRH had succumbed to their third straight loss.
Delhi Capitals vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, April 05, 2019, Delhi. Result – Sunrisers Hyderabad won by 5 wickets
A modest total of 129 was tried to be defended by Delhi, but when dew came in, things went south. David Warner and Jonny Bairstow smashed the DC bowlers around for fun. Sam Curran, Yusuf Pathan and Mohammad Nabi played out Rabada's fiery over, and cut loose as they achieved the target in 18.3 overs.
Delhi Capitals vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, May 10, 2018, Delhi. Result – Sunrisers Hyderabad won by 9 wickets
This was the sixth consecutive win for SRH - the most they had in succession in IPL going past the five they had at the end of 2016 and start of 2017. SRH's 191 could not be achieved as DC managed to score just 187. Rishabh Pant had smashed a blistering ton, yet his team failed to defend the target. It was a contrasting tale for both teams as SRH had become the first team to enter the Playoffs while Delhi became the first to crash out of the tournament.
