Bird-brained or brain freeze? Aaron Finch misses match against MI after forgetting his kit bag!

Aaron Finch reached the Wankhede stadium along with his other team mates to play against Mumbai Indians. But he could not find his name in the team sheet, as he has forgotten to carry his kit bag along with him from Rajkot to Mumbai. 

This was confirmed by Gujarat Lions skipper during toss, to announce the changes made from the last fixture. "Unfortunately Finchy misses out today because he's lost his kit bag," Raina said with a wry smile. "His kit bag did not arrive on time."

But team mate Brendon McCullum defended Finch by saying that," "He didn't forget his gear, that's for sure, but his gear didn't make it from Rajkot. Finchy was pretty disappointed about that ... I'm pretty sure that won't happen again. Finchy's gear will be the first one on the bus."

The Australian could not borrow his teammates' equipment as he has sponsor commitments to take care of. His spot is taken by Jason Roy, who missed Nitesh Rana's simple catch in the second over. This miss has proved costly as the Indian went on to hit a fifty.
