There still maybe some bad blood between Aussie captain Steve Smith and Indian skipper Virat Kohli after the recently-concluded Test series. The four-match series was just as charged up off the field as it was on the field. Sides were taken, things were said about friendship, drinks invites were extended in ditto Australian tradition but declined and later justified because the cash-rich event of Indian Premier League (IPL) - in which nationality of the players doesn't matter - was about to start and people had to be nice.

Logic prevailed.

Players got busy in preparing for a long haul of cricket in the Indian summer. Kohli focused on recovery. Smith concentrated on training, practicing, and dealing with replacing MS Dhoni as captain of Rising Pune  Supergiant.

But there are lighter moments when players keep their differences aside and oblige to do promotional events. During one such routine, captain of RPG Steve Smith was captured wearing an all-Puneri attire with Ajinkya Rahane in the same frame.

Smith is all smiles with a toothy grin, wearing a white Sadara (traditional long-sleeved, knee-length kurta for men), Dhoti, Kolhapuri sandals, and a red, shining Puneri Pagadi. He accessorised the look with his bat.

Smith captioned the Instagram image, "Trying out some traditional Indian fashion here in Pune with Ajinkya. What do y'all think? #fashion #dressups"

Rahane seems happy presenting his skipper to the Indian crowd in the traditional outfit. Punekars may have already forgiven Smith for what happened during the charged up Test series. They might busy themselves with making some awesome Puneri patya to wave when the squad takes on Mumbai Indians at the Maharashtra Cricket Association stadium on April 6.

Smith also recorded a video in Marathi wooing the Maharashtrian crowd.

Jinks is moving on. We hope Kohli and others can get past this too.
