Kings XI Punjab will take on Royal Challengers in their second match of IPL 2020. Kings XI Punjab are coming off a heart-breaking loss to the Delhi Capitals. Needing one run off two balls, they lost two wickets and headed into the Super Over in which they were bowled out for two runs. There was also controversy over the erroneous one-run short signal by the umpire which Kings XI Punjab formally complained to the match referee.
Their build-up has been marred by heartbreaks and controversy. However, there have been no such problems for Royal Challengers Bangalore as they have been determined and focused. Devdutt Padikkal and Yuzvendra Chahal were the stars as Royal Challengers Bangalore notched up a 10-run win.
Heading into the match, both sides have played each other 24 times and they have an even 12-12 record against each other. However, Royal Challengers Bangalore have won four out of their last five encounters.
