Kings XI Punjab dished out a disciplined allround performance to notch up a superb 10- wicket win over Delhi Daredevils and keep their IPL play-off hopes alive, in Mohali on Sunday.

In one of the most pathetic batting performances in this edition of the Indian Premier League, Delhi Daredevils were shot out for just 67 by Kings XI Punjab in 17.1 overs overs after invited to bat here.

Sandeep Sharma (4/20) was the wrecker-in-chief as he returned with a four-wicket haul, while Axar Patel (2/22) and Varun Aaron (2/3) picked up two wickets each. Mohit Sharma (1/3) and Glenn Maxwell (1/12) also contributed with one wicket each.

So folks that it for this match, I know it's been early but things have to come to an end.

However, you can join me for the match between SRH and KKR later today. Goodbye for now and thanks for tuning in!

06:31 PM

To sum up the match, Delhi annihilated the Kings XI Punjab to seal off an incredible 10 wicket victory.

Being put on to bat, the DD batsmen showed lack of intent and failed to get going with any sort of partnership. Sandeep Sharma did wonders with the new ball and threatened the visitors. In the end, Delhi were bundled out for their lowest IPL score.

Their bowling performance was nothing special either, as Martin Guptill thrashed the DD bowlers at all corners to seal off a comfortable 10 wicket victory with 73 balls to spare.

Sandeep Sharma has been adjudged man of the man for his exceptional figures of 20-4.

06:20 PM

Shahbaz Nadeem into the attack!

7.1 Flat and quick, Guptill pockets one through the covers

7.2 Angling down leg, Amla nudges it for one

7.3 IT'S HUGEEEEE! Guptill bends on one knee and smacks it over the long on boundary for a biggie

Just the one to win now

7.5 Guptill pads it down the leg side and that's it for the home team.

The Kiwi batsman seals an easy victory for the KXIP and also brings up his first IPL 50.

Good start for the hosts. KXIP 8-0

05:40 PM

So DD bundled out for 67 all out and a sublime bowling performance from KXIP. Right from the word go, Maxwell's men never let DD any space to breathe and were threatening with the new ball. Sandeep Sharma in particular was exceptional, achieving his best figures in the IPL.

DD coach Rahul Dravid must be disappointed with the way his batsman got out, especially to soft dismissals. With this dismal performance, DD have registered their lowest IPL score.
