IPL 2017 | Sandeep Sharma guides KXIP to easy 10 wicket win over DD

To sum up the match, Delhi annihilated the Kings XI Punjab to seal off an incredible 10 wicket victory. 

Being put on to bat, the DD batsmen showed lack of intent and failed to get going with any sort of partnership. Sandeep Sharma did wonders with the new ball and threatened the visitors. In the end, Delhi were bundled out for their lowest IPL score. 

Their bowling performance was nothing special either, as Martin Guptill thrashed the DD bowlers at all corners to seal off a comfortable 10 wicket victory with 73 balls to spare. 

Sandeep Sharma has been adjudged man of the man for his exceptional figures of 20-4.

7.1 Flat and quick, Guptill pockets one through the covers

7.2 Angling down leg, Amla nudges it for one 

7.3 IT'S HUGEEEEE! Guptill bends on one knee and smacks it over the long on boundary for a biggie

4.3 ONE BOUNCE, FOUR! Rabada bangs in short and Guptill plays an upper cut over the keeper's head

4.6 FOUR! Rabada bowls a full toss to Guptill who miscues his shot while trying to get underneath. The ball is up in the air and well over mid off.

With that boundary, KXIP equal the number of boundaries that DD scored in their whole innings

5.2 Short and pulled by Amla over midwicket. Not timed well, but Amla picks up three easily.

5.3 SIX! Guptill takes a shimmy and sends it towards the second tier over the long on boundary. 95 metres that!

5.5 CLOSE! Short again and Guptill pulls it towards the square leg boundary. The ball drops just short of Samson, single.

So DD bundled out for 67 all out and a sublime bowling performance from KXIP. Right from the word go, Maxwell's men never let DD any space to breathe and were threatening with the new ball. Sandeep Sharma in particular was exceptional, achieving his best figures in the IPL. 

DD coach Rahul Dravid must be disappointed with the way his batsman got out, especially to soft dismissals. With this dismal performance, DD have registered their lowest IPL score.

18.1 OUT! Mohit bowls a slower ball onto Nadeem's pads. The tail ender has no clue what to do and gets a faint edge that is easily caught by Mohit Sharma.

15.3 Round the wicket to Rabada, the South African gets an inside edge onto his pads

15.4 OUT! Rabada looks to go big but does not get the distance. Finds Marsh straight at mid on.

14.1 GOT HIM! Aaron bowls it full, fast and straight. Anderson chops the ball on straight onto his stumps. A big wicket for Punjab as Anderson was settling well into the game.

14.3 Mishra gets off the mark with a flick of the wrists towards the long leg boundary

14.6 DROPPED! Rabada looks to work it towards leg but gets an outside edge to Marsh at cover. The Australian puts in a dive but cannot keep hold of the ball.

13.2 DROPPED! It's a quicker one from Maxwell and Anderson gets a faint nick that comes unexpectedly on to Saha. The ball hits Saha on the things, but he fails to keep hold of it.

2.5 OUT! Samson looks to defend the ball but is beaten by the swing. The opener finds Mohit at mid off who takes a brilliant catch. Iyer walks out to bat.
