IPL 2017: Gujarat Lions roar back with convincing 4 wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders

So Gujarat Lions pick up a desperate win by winning with 4 wickets over KKR in their fortress. Captain Suresh Raina led from the front for the Gujarat Lions both with bat and the ball and ensured his team picked up a valuable two points. KKR looked fine with the bat, but it was not the same with the ball as GL's top three laid the foundation for an easy win. 

Gujarat Lions now a place above from the bottom of the table, while KKR missed an opportunity to move on top of the table and retain their position at number 2.

A big hello to everyone and welcome to DNA. I am Nicolai Nayak and once again, I'll be presenting you with the live commentary from the IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Gujarat Lions (GL). 

The two time IPL champions are on a fine run of form with consecutive victories while Gujarat Lions are struggling on the bottom of the table despite exceptional individual performances in the team. GL will be desperate for a win here but the KKR play at the Eden Gardens, which has been a fortress for them. 

Gautam Gambhir and Suresh Raina make their way to the pitch for the toss. GL win he toss and opt of bowl first because of the dew factor later on. 2 changes for the GL, James Faulkner and Praveen Kumar come in for Andrew Tye and Shivil Kaushik.

Gautam Gambhir says he would have opted to bowl first as well but since the toss can't be controlled they will look to put some runs on the board. There's just one change for the home side, Shakib Al Hasan comes in for Colin de Grandhomme.
