In the video bindass explain, that in 2013, the crimes against women were 500% more than the previous year, the highest ever in the country. To spread awareness about this fact, they decided to set up a social experiment in Delhi and Mumbai to see people's reactions to eve-teasing and harassment in plain view.
The video did very well on social media, amassing almost 200,000 hits in a few days. It is a real eye opener about the way things slide by in India.
At the end of the video, there is a a counter which denotes how many people just stood back and stared, and those who actually intervened. The numbers will surprise you.
