We should stay at homes to safeguard our families: Uttarakhand CM on India lockdown

While speaking to media on India lockdown amid coronavirus outbreak, Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat said, ‘We all should stay at homes to safeguard our families. The shops of essential commodities will be open during the 21 day lockdown period.’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a 21-day lockdown in the entire country effective from midnight to deal with the spread of coronavirus on March 24, saying that social distancing is the only option to deal with the disease, which spreads rapidly.
