This video footage shows the battle between life and death of 24 of the students who waded through the waters of River Beas for taking photographs and selfies during their college industrial visit. Their college trip turned into the worst nightmare when their photography session turned fatal and they were washed away with the flash flood caused due to the opening of the sluice gates of the dam. The water level which was relatively shallow rose considerably when the water from the reservoir of the Larji Hydropower project gushed into the river.
