Rahul Gandhi claims not to have made personal attacks on Narendra Modi

Rahul Gandhi after filing his nomination papers in Uttar Pradesh for the Lok Sabha polls claims that he did not make a personal attack on BJP candidate Naredra Modi.

Gandhi states he simply pointed out a fact which was Modi did not include his marital status leaving his affidavit incomplete.

Party officials claim that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who is overseeing the campiagn, reportedly advised Rahul not to get personal.

He further went on to state that despite prior expectations in the last election in 2009, the Congress emerged triumphant, which he believes will happen once again.
