Lockdown 4.0: Wedding ceremony turns into discotheque with over 1000 guests

Amid coronavirus outbreak, social distancing norms and other precautionary measures went for a toss during a wedding ceremony of a government servant in MP’s Alirajpur on May 25. Against the MHA guidelines, instead of 50, more than 1,000 people were present in the ceremony. Crowd was enjoying dance and music keeping aside all the precautions for COVID-19. FIR has been registered against the family. Alirajpur, SDOP, Dheeraj Babbar said, “We got the information that lot of people have gathered in a marriage which was clear cut against the rules. FIR has been registered under 188 IPC against all the people present in the marriage.”
