Delhi police whip over 200 slums at Rangpuri leaving hundreds homeless

Delhi Police demolished around 200-250 slums at Rangpuri in Mahipalpur on October 29. Locals claimed that the demolition took place without any official notice leaving 500 to 700 people homeless. People living in these slums claimed of paying electricity and water bills without fail and still facing atrocities. The residents are now compelled to sleep on road. With winter season around the corner, the demolition has added to their plight.
