COVID-19: Travellers go through strict checking at Delhi-UP border

Security has been tightened at Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border due to nation-wide lockdown over coronavirus outbreak. Delhi Police are allowing only those individuals availing or rendering essential services. Police checked passes and identity cards of people amid the movement of vehicles during coronavirus lockdown. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 active cases rose to 1238 in India with 35 deaths.
