The fire that broke out at IOC’s fuel depot in the outskirts of Jaipur on Thursday evening is still raging. Fuel tanks at the depot are spitting fire and smoke. The helplessness of the authorities is understandable as the situation presents no solution other than letting the fuel burn. The loss of lives and capital, inevitably, are enormous.
