Bangaloreans usher in Good Friday with a special service

Good Friday, the day of mourning is one of the most important days in the year. Apart from it being a universal holiday, it marks Jesus Christ's crucifixion. There is a service wherein the Passion of Christ is read and hymns are sung in this regard. Families are in mourning until the day of Easter. The Passion of Christ incorporates the story of how Jesus was betrayed by Judas for 30 pieces of silver and how he was crucified brutally. As Bangalore ushers in the holy week, A Veeramani captures a few moments.
