Unidentified youths pelted stones and smashed windowpanes of an air-conditioned coach of the Kalka bound Pashchim Express, but no one was hurt, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday, between Rathdhanna and Sonepat railway stations about 6 km from here, they said adding all passengers and a Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) travelling in the AC coach escaped unhurt.
Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (CPF) officials denied receiving any complaints regarding this incident but said they will inquire into the case if they get any complaints.
