CHENNAI: In a fit of anger, a woman here stabbed her husband during a quarrel over cooking an omlette.
Kavitha, a school teacher, and her husband Ravi had a bitter quarrel over preparation of an omelette for dinner last night.
Ravi, an employee of a private firm, wanted his wife to cook an omlette for dinner. A quarrel erupted when she refused to oblige.
She, however, relented after some time and began chopping onions when a fresh bout of arguments broke out between the two. In a fit of rage, she stabbed her husband on the chest, after which he collapsed.
Ravi was taken to hospital by neighbours.
Police registered a case and detained Kavitha.
