Nearly 1,900 petrol pumps went dry across West Bengal today at the call of West Bengal petroleum dealers' association for a day's shutdown in support of its demands for higher commission, reduction of cess and sale of adulereated oil.
Queues of vehicles were seen in front of some of the selected pumps which were exempted from the strike by the sponsors.
