The Chief Judicial Magistrate probing the mysterious death of Deputy CMO YS Sachan in district jail hospital here has summoned the jailor and sought the post-mortem report and its video recording.
CJM Rajesh Upadhyay has directed SSP DK Thakur to produce the post-mortem report and its video recording, besides asking him to ensure the presence of Jailor Bhimsem Mukund in his chamber on June 30, court sources said.
The CJM today directed the SHO, Hazratganj, to register a case and investigate the complaint of Sachan's wife Malti alleging that the motorcycle on which Sachan had gone to the crime branch office of the Lucknow police on April 5 in connection with an alleged bungling case has not been returned to the family till date.
Sachan was arrested on the same day and his motorcycle, driving licence along with the insurance papers of the vehicle should be returned to the family, she said in her application.
The CJM also directed station officer, Gosainganj police station, to furnish the list of relatives of Sachan on July 1 to ensure their presence during the magisterial probe.
Sachan, an accused in CMO BP Singh murder case, was found dead under suspicious circumstance in the toilet of jail hospital here on June 22 following which Mayawati government ordered the judicial probe into the incident.
He was charged with masterminding Singh's murder on April 2 through three shooters--RK Verma, Anand Tiwari and Vinod Sharma-- who were arrested by STF on June 17.
Jailor Mukund was on duty when Sachan was allegedly killed inside the jail.
A case of murder was earlier registered at Gosaiganj police station following a complaint by Sachan wife.
Meanwhile, former CMO AK Shukla, who along with Sachan was booked for misappropriation of funds in April, today claimed that the charges against them were false.
"The case of embezzlement of funds against me and Sachan is totally false," Shukla said.
