The Satellite police on Thursday evening arrested two women for allegedly stealing food items from a mall.
The CCTV camera installed in the mall helped the officials nab the two who were allegedly stealing packets of food items.
However, the mall did not register any complaint as it managed to recover the stolen goods.
A source from Satellite police station told DNA that two women Leela Dantani and Shobha Bharwad had come to the mall and were looking at various items.
“Soon they allegedly began stuffing things in their undergarments. But they were caught in the act by the person monitoring the CCTV footage. The mall officials then called the police who came and caught the two.”
The source said the police managed to recover the stolen items from the two.
