Two men, who arrived here from Kuala Lumpur today, were quarantined with suspected swine flu symptoms. According to airport officials, the two men, aged 25 and 26, were suffering from fever and cough.

The two, hailing from Chidambaram and Ramanathapuram districts respectively, were immediately referred to the government-run Communicable Diseases Hospital (CDH) at Tondiarpet here, officials added.

A high-level meeting convened by chief minister M Karunanidhi here yesterday had directed officials to ensure that proper tests were carried out on those with symptoms of cold, cough, bodyache and diarrhoea.
