Two minors girls raped in Uttar Pradesh

Two minor girls, including a dalit, were allegedly raped in two separate incidents in Uttar Pradesh, police said today.

A 10-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour Golu (18) in Maharajganj on Friday night, police said, adding that Golu was later nabbed.

In another incident, a man complained that his 14-year-old daughter was allegedly enticed by one Vinod Kumar Vishwakarma and his aides in Pratapgarh district on Friday, police said.

The dalit girl was recovered from a tubewell in Kalyanpur and she alleged of being gangraped by Vinod, Kaptan Vishwakarma, Rajesh Vishwakarma and Rajesh Singh, they said.

While Kaptam Vishwakarma alias Vivek Kumar has been arrested, police is on the lookout for the other accused.
