Two Lashkar-e-Taiba militants killed in Jammu

Two Lashker-e-Taiba militants were killed in a fierce gunbattle with army troops in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir today.

Acting on a specific information that some militants were hiding in Thanol forest belt, 140-km from here, troops of 64 Rashtriya Rifles launched a search operation in the area, an army officer said.
        
During the operation, militants fired at the jawans and in the ensuing gunfight lasting over three hours, two Let militants were killed.

Two AK rifles and some ammunition were recovered from the scene, the officer said.
