Two killed, five injured in two separate accidents in J&K

Two persons were killed and five others injured in two different road accidents in Anantnag and Kulgam districts of south Kashmir today, police said.

A car driver identified as Ghulam Qadir Itoo was killed on the spot and two others were injured when the car turned turle at Langabal-Pahalgam in Anantnag district, 90 kms from here.

Both the injured, identified as Bakhtar Ahmad Lone and Nazir Ahmad, were hospitalised. In another accident, a truck collided with a car at Zig on Srinagar national highway in Kulgam district, 75 kms from here, resulting in injuries to three persons identified as Shamim Ahmad, his wife Nusrat Ara and Mohammad Ashraf wani.

The injured were hospitalised, police said.
