Two held in Bangalore blasts case remanded in judicial custody

A suspected LeT militant and another person, arrested on Friday in Rajasthan and Kerala for their alleged involvement in the 2008 Bangalore bomb blasts, have been remanded in judicial custody till October 25 by a court in Bangalore.

A suspected LeT militant and another person, arrested on Friday in Rajasthan and Kerala for their alleged involvement in the 2008 Bangalore bomb blasts, have been remanded to judicial custody till October 25 by a court in Bangalore.

Ibrahim Moulavi, a suspected Lashkar militant, and Umar Farooq were taken into custody in Ajmer and Kasargod respectively, brought here late yesterday and produced before first additional chief metropolitan magistrate Venkatesh Hulagi, police sources said.

The low-intensity blasts on July 25, 2008 had killed one person and left 20 others injured.
