Two Bangladeshi women undertrials have escaped from a juvenile home in Tripura by cutting through the tin roof, police said today.

The police guarding Narsingarh home last night found that a portion of the tin roof was cut and that two undertrials fled from the home through the cut portion of the roof last night, a police official said.

The deliquents who escaped were identified as Ratna Begum and Taslima Akhtar who were arrested in connection with allegedly stealing of jewllery from a doctor's house here on October 7.

In August, nine Bangladeshi offenders fled from the same juvenile home. Four of them were arrested from Melaghar, about 40km from here, but the others are still absconding.
