Twelve injured in a clash in Uttar Pradesh

Atleast twelve persons were injured in a clash which broke out between groups of two
villages in the district here over construction of a road, police said.
    
The residents of Baghela and Titoda villages clashed over the road construction dispute at Baghela village yesterday.
 
The two groups pelted stones at each other and opened fire in the air in which twelve people were injured, they said.
    
Policemen have been deployed in the area after the incident.
    
Baghela villagers had earlier blocked the Delhi-Dehradun highway to demand action against their rival group over construction of the road.
