Three minor girls including a two-year-old toddler drowned in separate incidents in Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh, police said today.
The toddler identified as Kanchan Bai of Paudi Mangadh village under Jabera Police Station died after she accidentally fell into a pit near her house yesterday, police said.
In another incident, Rekha (9), hailing from Shishpur village under Nohata Police Station, met a watery grave when slipped into a pond, they said.
Eleven-year-old Rashmi of Dupariya village lost her life on Tuesday night after slipping into a well in an agriculture field, police said.
Her body was fished out this morning.
Cases have been registered in these matters and a probe was on, they added.
