Three persons were sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court here for murdering a villager four years ago.
Anwar, Ansar and Bhuvnesh were held guilty by additional district judge Amar Nath, who also imposed a fine of Rs5,000 each on the accused yesterday.
The victim Ram Niwas was murdered by the trio in Singhawali village in Rajpura area on March 27, 2006.
