Three Germans injured in an accident in Uttar Pradesh

Two persons were killed and two students and a teacher, all Germans, were injured in a head-on collision between a jeep and a van at a national highway here today.

Sixteen students and teachers, including the Germans, belonging to Delhi Public School, Ghaziabad, were on their way to Jim Corbett National Park in their van when the accident
happened, police said.

Marlin Cristen (15), Kelvin (16) and teacher Marker (30) received injuries in the collision that occurred at around 0800 hrs near Naipura village.

Harvinder Singh, aged 35, and Jagpreet Singh, 34, both occupants of the jeep, were killed in the accident, police said adding they were returning to Delhi after a visit to the Jim Corbett Park.

Two licensed nine mm pistol, Rs 80,000 and some ATM cards were recovered from their possession. Harvinder hailed from Karnal and Jagpreet from Delhi, police said.
