The constables were caught red-handed playing cards during a raid on a house in West Godavari district.

Three police constables of West Godavari district were suspended for allegedly gambling while on duty, police said today.
The three constables, B Surya Prakash, K Venkata Sathayanarayana Raju, and K Nageswara Rao, were suspended yesterday after they were caught red-handed while playing cards during a raid on a house in Rayalam village, superintendent of police (West Godavari) C Ravi Varma said.
Five others were arrested during the raid which took place on May 15.
