Three bodies found floating in pond in Gorakhpur

The bodies of a woman and her two children were found floating in a pond in Jaswantpur village here, police said today. Some villagers sighted the bodies yesterday and informed the police.

The husband of 26-year-old Geeta has been arrested and police believe his extra-marital affair could be the reason behind the suspected murder of the woman and her two children -- Pawan (5) and Kajal (3).
    
Police said all the bodies bore head injuries that lead to the suspicion that they were murdered before being thrown into the pond.
