For the first time since 1995, billionaire brothers Anil and Mukesh Ambani and their families gathered at their father Dhirubhai Ambani's ancestral home in Chorwad, Gujarat, on Tuesday. The brothers, however, gave no hints of a reunion.

They arrived separately with their wives and children and even participated in the religious ceremonies separately. Occasionally, they were seen together, but it was purely coincidental.

"Both brothers were together in the house for more than two hours. They took part in the religious ceremony in two separate sessions,” sources said. “This was  purely a family function and not a business meet.”

The Ambani family is in Chorwad to dedicate a memorial to their late father, Dhirubhai, whose 80th birth anniversary falls on Wednesday. The memorial will be opened to the public later.
