The Ahmedabad Medical Association (AMA) held a meeting with the state health officials and an official from National Rural health Mission (NRHM) was also present there.

In the meeting it was decided that the doctors can't quarantine all the suspected patients in hospitals. However, what they can do is they can keep a close watch on A-type patients, while B-type patients need to be given anti-swine flu medicine (Tamiflu).

The people who fall under A-type category just need to be under doctor's observation. They are less vulnerable to the virus.

Whereas patients who fall under B-type are more likely to spread the virus. The C-type are the ones who needs immediate indoor medical treatment.
