Desperate over the delay in formation of Telangana state, another Osmania University student committed suicide on Tuesday.
Meegada Sai Kumar, a second year B.Tech student, hung himself from a ceiling fan in his hostel room.

A suicide note written by Kumar said, “Don’t trust these politicians. Students should lead the movement and achieve Telangana state.” Kumar, a native of Nalgonda, was the only son in his family.

After the incident, police forces were deployed in the campus to prevent any agitation by students. Police also resorted to mild lathi charge as students tried to take out a procession with the body.
Parties fighting for Telangana say more than 300 youth have committed suicide since protests began in November.
