Congress president Sonia Gandhi today enquired vegetable prices at a village market in her parliamentary constituency.
Sonia, who is on a two-day visit to Raebareli had gone to Bakrauli village to inspect electrification work carried out under Rajiv Gandhi Rural Electrification Programme.
While returning, she halted at a roadside village market, and enquired about prices of various vegetables party sources said adding, "Mainly she enquired about prices of potato and tomato."
Earlier, she also inspected a bridge being constructed on river Ganga connecting Raebareli with Fatehpur district.
The bridge costing Rs30 crore had been funded by the Centre.
