Take to solar power and say good bye to hefty power bills.
The city-based power solution provider, Power Palazzo will soon market imported solar panels which can be installed on terrace and can save 90% of power bill. The firm has tied up with Zhejiang Energy, a government of China-owned company, for marketing of its solar panels in India.
“Initially, we will be focusing on commercial buildings and bungalows as the installation cost of such panels is very high,” said director of the company, Micky Shah.
“Later, as the installation cost begins to come down, we will market solar panels for flats, including one BHK schemes,” said Shah. Talking about the current installation cost, Shah said that for a flat or an apartment it would come to around Rs80,000.
“The first-time installation cost will be very high as of now. But it will drastically cut down electricity bill over the years. One can save up to 90% on power bill,” he said. He said with solar power it is a win-win situation.
“The biggest advantage of using solar energy is that it will help bring down energy bills. Moreover, as the demand for electricity comes down, the shortfall in availability of power will also fall gradually,” he said.
