Six killed in separate mishaps in Uttar Pradesh

Two pilgrims, residents of Haryana, were killed yesterday and two others injured when a car in which they were travelling collided with a truck on Khatima-Panipat highway.

Six persons were killed in separate road accidents in the district, police said today.

Two pilgrims, residents of Haryana, were killed yesterday and two others injured when a car in which they were travelling collided with a truck on Khatima-Panipat highway near here.

In second incident, two persons were killed and two others injured when their car collided with a truck on Delhi-Saharanpur highway near Kharad village of the district, they said.

A woman Farah was killed in a mishap at Dewal village, while a girl Archana died in Sindhawli village of the district.
