Six injured in truck-bus collision in Shillong

Six people were injured when a mini truck collided with a bus in East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya today.

The truck bearing Assam registration number hit the mini bus at Mawkhlir village near Mawryngkneng early this morning, the police said.

The truck was travelling from Assam and was on its way to Mizoram when it hit the mini bus coming from the opposite direction.

Police said the truck was on the wrong side when it hit the bus and the driver of the truck was absconding.
