Six injured, 80 houses gutted in Bihar fire

The fire caused by a spark from an earthen oven soon engulfed the hamlet fanned by norwesterly winds gutting 80 huts and burning alive 12 cattle.

Six people were injured and over 80 houses gutted in a fire that broke out in Shikarpur village of Bihar's Munger district today, police sources said.
       
The fire caused by a spark from an earthen oven soon engulfed the hamlet fanned by norwesterly winds gutting 80 huts and burning alive 12 cattle.
     
At least six people suffered burn injuries and were being treated at a government hospital.
       
Property worth Rs one crore was stated to be destroyed in the fire.
