A 60-year-old Sikh pilgrim died of heart attack during a pilgrimage to Nankana Sahib in Pakistan and the mortal remains were handed over to authorities here today, making it the second death during this year's sojourn.

The body of Manjit Kaur, who died last evening, was brought through land transit route at international Indo-Pak Attari border, official sources said.

Kaur, hailing from Jammu and Kashmir, was among a group of 1,500 devotees who went to Pakistan on October 31 by Samjhauta Express to observe the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev on November 2.

On November 4, Gurmukh Singh (68) had died of heart attack and his mortal remains were brought here.
