Celebrating landslide victory of JD(U)-BJP combine in the Bihar assembly elections, the BJP workers led by Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and the state unit President Prabhat Jha congratulated Nitish Kumar and Sushil Modi today.

"People of Bihar have voted for those who are committed for the development. The people of Bihar wanted development and have accordingly given their mandate," Chouhan said.

"The people of Bihar have realised that there is no alternative to NDA in the state and have given their mandate to show proper place to those practising pseudo-secular policies," Jha said.

Jha also claimed that Congress lost all 27 seats where its General Secretary, Rahul Gandhi campaigned whereas BJP bagged all the 19 seats where Jha campaigned.
