Seven killed as bus overturns near Godhra

The accident occurred when the speeding bus turned turtle this morning on the Dahod highway after the driver lost control over the vehicle.

Seven persons, including two women and as many children, were killed and 12 others injured when a bus overturned near Godhra town here today, police said.

The accident occurred when the speeding bus turned turtle this morning on the Dahod highway after the driver lost control over the vehicle, they said.

The bus was coming from Indore and was going to Ahmedabad.

The deceased have been identified as Nidhi Chaurashia, Nagarsingh Jat, Gurumalsingh Jat and two children Kumkum and Vipul, they said.

Two others are yet to be identified.

The injured have been admitted to the Godhra civil hospital, police said.
