Seven persons who died following the bridge collapse in Rajasthan's Kota were identified to have hailed from villages in Nadia district.

"The local administration has been contacted and the family members have rushed to bring the bodies," district magistrate Omkar Singh Meena told PTI.

They hail from Balarampur and Haripur villages of Tehatta in the district and had gone to work there as masons, he said.

Fifty persons went missing after an under-construction bridge on Chambal river collapsed in Kota on Thursday.
