A day after the bomb blast in Pune, Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today advocated for a separate policy and law to deal with such terror acts firmly.

"We have been asking the Centre for a separate policy and law to curb growing terrorism," Chouhan told reporters here.

This point was stressed upon during the chief ministers' meet on internal security on February seven in Delhi, the chief minister said.

All the acts of terror were of great concern, Chouhan said when his attention was drawn to the yesterday's blast in Pune.

About the accusation of the Congress that the BJP's National Council Meeting is being organised at a township near a national highway to benefit the land mafias as colonies being developed around it will be benefited with road links and other infrastructure being raised for the event, Chouhan said that his rival party's allegations were baseless.

"Right now, they (Congress leaders), don't have any other issue to speak on," Chouhan added.
