The Ram Manohar Lohia hospital in Delhi has turned into a mourning site as sobbing families and angry relatives gathered to visit those who have died or have been injured in the bomb blast outside the Delhi High Court at around 10:17am.

Young Amanpreet Singh Jolly’s family members were in shock and tears when they reached the RML Hospital to realise that he had succumbed to his injuries in the blast.

First year law student at the Indraprastha University, Amanpreet was stepping into the Delhi High Court when the blast occurred. His outraged father, MS Jolly yelled, “Mujhe batao kahan hai terrorist. Main har terrorist ko mar dunga. (Tell me where are the terrorists. I will kill them.”)

Angered by the way the hospital authorities were handling the situation, Rakesh Kumar Walia, an MCD worker, said the hospital was not looking after the injured. They were not allowing the relatives to visit those who were injured. Rakesh’s father, Ashok Walia was also injured in the blast and was admitted in the same hospital.

Sanjeev Deniwal, a high court lawyer said that his client Pratap Singh and his junior were standing  at the gate when the blast occurred.

Mehtab Singh, 67, was also among those who died at the site.
