Terms arrest as a huge conspiracy to malign Hindu community

Terming the arrest of sadhvi Pragya in the Malegaon blast case as a conspiracy to malign Hindu religion and community, sadhvi Ritambhara, who was in the city to inaugurate an orphanage, has said that no charges have been proved against Pragya as yet.

When asked about her views on the sadhvi’s arrest, the firebrand leader said, “It is a conspiracy to malign Hindu religion before the elections and the Left and secular parties are behind this conspiracy.”

However, not commenting any further on the controversy, she said, “I prefer not to comment much on sadhvi Pragya. I have no idea whether she was involved in the blasts. But one thing is for sure — as of now, no charges have been proved against her.”

“I think rather than terming her as ‘terrorist’, we should wait for the truth and the decision of the court to come out,” she said.

Commenting on the reports that tagged Hindus as “terrorists” in the wake of the Malegaon blasts, she said,” I think it is unfair to label Hindus as terrorists. No one has the right to insult Indians especially the sons of Bharat mata.”

She also warned those who label Hindu outfits as “terrorists” saying it is premature to pass such remarks on the community.

Ritambhara said, in the past, the Kanchi Shankar- acharya was arrested and released after six months.
